Biography:

  • Dr. Alexander-Delpech received her BSN and MSN from Florida International University and her Ph.D. from Barry University. 
  • Dr. Alexander-Delpech’s main research focus is the delivery of culturally appropriate breast cancer awareness initiatives to low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) through high-quality, community-based education and contemporary eHealth. 
  • She has developed and led several faculty-led study abroad programs to countries in the Caribbean. 
  • Most recently, Dr. AlexanderDelpech developed and led a community-based culturally appropriate breast health awareness program in Grenada. 
  • The program was guided by a community-based philosophy of health care and social planning. 
  • The program trained Lay Community Health Workers (LCHW) in breast health and how to train women to conduct breast selfexaminations.
