Biography
Dr. Abdul Wajid, MSc, PhD, is an Epidemiologist in COVID-19 Management at Alberta Health Services in Alberta, Canada. He received his education from King Edward Medical University, Aga Khan University, and Michigan State University. His research has addressed maternal and child health, reproductive health interventions, and infectious disease epidemiology in diverse settings. Dr. Wajid's most-cited work examines trajectories of maternal distress and their association with child developmental delays, published in 2019 with 39 citations. His contributions span community health worker evaluations, sexually transmitted infection prevalence studies, and postpartum hemorrhage prevention in resource-limited contexts.
