- Haewon Byeon received the DrSc degree in Biomedical Science from Ajou University School of Medicine.
- He is a professor in Department of Speech Language Pathology in Honam University.
- His recent interests focus on health promotion and biostatistics.
- He is currently a member of international committee for an International Workshop for Healthcare and Nursing, and an editorial board for Journal of Ageing Research And Healthcare (JARAH).
- He has published more than 100 scientific articles and several books.
