Aims And Scope

The Journal of Cancer Genetics and Biomarkers aims to provide a platform for the dissemination of high-quality research in the field of cancer genetics and biomarkers. The journal publishes original research articles, reviews, and perspectives that focus on the genetic and molecular basis of cancer, and the identification and validation of biomarkers for early detection, diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment of cancer.

The journal's scope includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:

Cancer genetics: Studies that investigate the genetic and epigenetic changes that contribute to the development and progression of cancer.

Cancer genomics: Research that utilizes high-throughput sequencing and other genomic technologies to identify and understand the genetic changes that underlie cancer.

Cancer epigenetics: Studies that investigate the role of epigenetic changes, such as DNA methylation and histone modification, in the development and progression of cancer.

Cancer biomarkers: Research that aims to identify and validate biomarkers for early detection, diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment of cancer.

Cancer personalized medicine: Studies that aim to use genetic and molecular information to develop personalized treatment strategies for cancer patients.

Cancer prevention and therapy: Research that investigates the genetic and molecular basis of cancer and develops new treatments and therapies for cancer.

Cancer epidemiology and public health: Studies that investigate the genetic, environmental, and lifestyle factors that contribute to the development and progression of cancer, and the impact of cancer on public health.

The Journal of Cancer Genetics and Biomarkers welcomes submissions from researchers working in the field of cancer genetics and biomarkers, and aims to be a leading forum for the dissemination of new findings and ideas in this rapidly-evolving field.

JCGB encourages the submission of manuscripts from all areas of cancer research, including basic and clinical research, laboratory studies, and animal models. The journal particularly welcomes submissions focusing on identifying and delineating biomarkers associated with cancer risk and prognosis, assessing and validating cancer biomarkers, and understanding the underlying biology, genomics and epigenetics of cancer.

The journal also seeks to promote interdisciplinary collaborations between researchers, clinicians, and healthcare professionals. JCGB encourages the submission of manuscripts that contribute to the advancement of cancer genetics and biomarker research and will be of great benefit to the cancer research community and to the wider biomedical science community.
