Who assesses the work
The board holds 15 members, working in 10 countries. Their expertise spans stem cell biology, hematopoiesis, cancer stem cells, neural and hepatic systems, tissue engineering, developmental biology and medicinal chemistry — the range the journal's scope requires.
Editorial decisions are based on scope, scientific quality, methodological rigor, ethical compliance, reporting quality, and relevance to the journal. Those decisions remain independent of fees, services, memberships and roles, and editors recuse themselves from decisions on their own submissions.
