Journal of Advanced Cytology

Aims and Scope

Journal of Advanced Cytology is a peer-reviewed international scientific journal focusing on studies related to the microscopic structure and function of cells, tissues, and cellular membranes. This includes research on cell division, cell signaling, and interactions, as well as features of cellular metabolism, organization, movement, and motility. The journal also covers methods for the examination and manipulation of cells with the eventual goal of understanding their function, division, and applications to medical science. It covers the latest advances in research from both the clinical and basic sciences and welcomes research from diverse disciplines such as biology, biochemistry, genetics, cancer research, material science, and immunology. A wide range of topics including, but not limited to, cell lineages, apoptosis, transcription and translation, epigenetic regulation, metabolic heterogeneity, viral entry and exit mechanisms, cytokine networks, molecular biology, and gene therapy are also covered. This journal provides an international platform for interdisciplinary research and encourages articles discussing new approaches, findings, and knowledge to promote tissue culture-related research in the scientific community.

JCY scope covers the broad spectrum of areas within the field, including but not limited to, cytogenetics, oncology, developmental and basic cell biology, structural and physiological changes that occur as normal and abnormal cellular processes, cellular and molecular interactions, DNA/RNA replication and recombination, cell membrane and receptor functions, signal transduction pathways, stem cells, and gene expression. Additionally, it focuses on the systematic review of current key topics, new findings, and emerging fields in cytology, biomolecular technologies, therapeutic approaches, cytology and observation, such as androgen receptors, aneuploidy, genome stability and instability, and cell signaling. It also includes advances in techniques and technologies relevant to cytology, such as automated image analysis, image cytometry, flow cytometry, and digital pathology.

The journal provides a valuable platform for researchers to consider the dynamic changes in cellular architecture and dynamics involved in various physiological processes, as well as the various functions of cells and the pathological aspects of cellular processes. Consequently, it serves as a forum for the publication of novel insights, ideas, and technologies related to the field of advanced cytology.

Journal of Advanced Cytology encourages the publication of inventive and advanced research work that focuses on the aspects of cytology to increase knowledge and understanding of etiology diagnosis and management of human disease. JCY accepts and publishes the most important and reliable source of information about the discoveries and current developments in the form of Research, Review, Literature Review, Conference proceedings, Case reports, Short communication, Thesis, Letters to the editor, and Editorials, all the area of Cytology which includes Clinical and Diagnostic Cytology. It aims to maintain a medium for research investigators, scholars, and medical practitioners to submit and exchange the knowledge gained, globally.
