Journal of Zoological Research

Aims and Scope

Journal of Zoological Research (JZR) is an open access journal, committed to publishing top quality research work in all areas of Zoology. This journal aims to provide a platform to share recent advances, discoveries, and news in the field of Zoological research. The scope of JZR covers Systematics and Taxonomy, Animal Physiology, Animal Behavior, Molecular Biology, Evolutionary Biology, Conservation Biology, Behavioral Ecology, Ethology, Marine Biology, Biotechnology, and allied fields.

JZR promotes research and discussion on Zoo-genetics and related technologies and sciences. JZR publishes original, high-quality research articles, review papers, and short communications. JZR is interested in topics like zoological study and research, animal ecology, behavior & physiology, animal pathobiology, genomics & evolutionary biology, animal diversity and conservation, animal health, and genetics and zoo innovation, animal behavior, systematics genetics, physiology, developmental biology.

JZR broadly welcomes submissions from a variety of disciplines and research areas, including molecular biology, bioinformatics, animal physiology, immunology, epidemiology, pathology, neurophysiology, parasitology, virology, and endocrinology. The journal provides an important platform for communication between experts from the various branches of zoology, including animal anatomy and physiology, animal behavior, conservation biology, the evolution of animal life, systematics, taxonomy, veterinary science, and general biological research. Furthermore, manuscripts combining laboratory and field studies also fall within the scope of the journal.

JZR publishes original research in the form of review articles, essays, and research articles covering topics such as wildlife management, biodiversity, entomology, herpetology, ichthyology, ornithology, parasitology, and physiological ecology. The journal is committed to the finest publishing standards and provides peer review to ensure the high quality of its published material.

The journal's scope consists of objective and qualitative studies regarding the interplay between humans and animals in terms of culture, behavior, population biology, medicine, and evolutionary biology. By providing insightful and timely information on basic biological research, the journal promotes an understanding of the natural world with the goal of creating a more sustainable future. The research content of the Journal of Zoological Research (JZR) is aimed at zoology specialists, but also welcomes submissions from related disciplines such as veterinary medicine, biochemistry, and environmental science. The journal publishes both original research and reviews with the goal of advancing knowledge and understanding of zoological sciences.

The journal is dedicated to the dissemination of knowledge in aspects such as ethology, ecology, taxonomy, behavior, general biology, morphology, and conservation of species. JZR aims to advance the understanding of zoological research with its high level of excellence. JZR promotes a multidisciplinary approach to the examination of selected topics and seeks to cover a wide range of topics, including comparative anatomy, reproductive physiology, and developmental biology. The scope of JZR is listed below but is not strictly confined to the same. For any specific queries, do email us.
