Sneezing

Sneezing is an involuntarily reflex action which helps to clear the nasal passage of irritants and infectious agents. Sneezing is an important defense mechanism of the body, helping to prevent the spread of infectious agents from person to person. Sneezing can serve as an early warning system for the body, alerting it to the presence of a potential risk. Proper hygiene—including covering one's mouth when sneezing, frequent handwashing, and regular cleaning—can play an important role in preventing the spread of infectious diseases.
