Biography
- Hongfu Zhang, born in 1965 in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, is a professor of National second grade and also serves as PhD supervisor of Institute of animal Sciences, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS).
- He is the winner of special government allowance (2012), National plan of Hundred, Thousand and Ten Thousand Talent (2013) and National middle-aged and young specialists with outstanding contributions (2013).
- As the primary contributor, he has been credited with the second prize of National Scientific and Technological Progress Award.
- He is the principal scientist of National Science & Technology Pillar Program "Research and Demonstrations of healthy husbandry system of farm animals and poultry" (2012-2016).
- He has supervised a total of 63 master students, 8 doctoral students and 3 post-doctoral students.
