Membership for Individual Researchers and Authors

Becoming a member of the JAL, offers individual researchers and authors numerous benefits. We provide significant discounts on Article Processing Charges (APC), making it more cost-effective to publish your research. Additionally, we are committed to recognizing and showcasing the expertise and achievements of individual researchers and authors. 

To be eligible for APC waivers, you must be listed as an author or co-author of the submitted manuscript. Upon registration, members receive a membership certificate. Authors can submit an unlimited number of manuscripts annually, with the exception of special issues, and a 30% discount on the APC is available for articles submitted to special issues.
 

Student Membership

The Student Membership is specially designed to provide assistance to aspiring researchers and students actively engaged in academic or scientific research. To be eligible, students are required to submit a recommendation letter from their department head, research supervisor, or group leader at the time of application. This membership enables students to contribute as author or co-author, allowing them to gain hands-on experience in the academic publishing process and to commence building their publication portfolio early in their careers. It serves as a valuable platform for students to showcase their research, connect with the broader scientific community, and begin establishing their academic reputation. Additional benefits include the ability to publish an unlimited number of articles during the membership period, a personalized membership certificate, and access to journal updates.
 

Institutional Membership

Academic institutions, including universities and research laboratories, can significantly elevate their research dissemination by partnering with our esteemed publishing house, gaining access to streamlined publication support and broader global visibility. Through our institutional memberships, multiple authors can publish under a single membership, benefiting from exclusive discounts and receiving a membership certificate as a token of appreciation for their significant contributions to the scientific community.
 

Corporate/Industry Membership

Corporate or Industry Membership is designed for private companies, biotech firms, pharmaceutical organizations, and other commercial entities engaged in research and innovation. This membership facilitates strategic collaboration between industry and academia by allowing companies to publish their research findings and case studies in peer-reviewed journals. Members enjoy discounted or waived article processing charges (APCs) for their employees. Corporate members may also have the opportunity to contribute to special issues and collaborate on industry-focused editorials. This partnership elevates the company’s standing in the academic community and supports the dissemination of corporate-funded research. Furthermore, we present a certificate of membership to recognize and celebrate our members' contributions to the scientific community.

We encourage researchers to include any additional questions or specific requests related to the membership options. Once we have received all the necessary information and clarified any uncertainties, we will promptly process the membership application. Membership Renewal: Important Information

1. Make use of exclusive membership services within the designated validity period. Unused entitlements cannot be carried forward unless explicitly stated.

2. Consider extending your membership before the expiration date, subject to applicable terms and conditions. Early renewal is recommended for uninterrupted benefits.

3. Existing members are entitled to a 20% waiver on membership renewal fees as an incentive to continue their association with the journal publishing house. This waiver is applicable when renewing before the current agreement's expiration date.

4. Renewals submitted after the deadline will not be eligible for the continuation of unused services.
