The Journal of Human and Animal Intestines (JHAI) publishes a wide variety of research from all fields of gastroenterology and parasitology, including the study of, anatomy, physiology, and pathology of the gastrointestinal tract and the relationship between the gut and its associated microbiota. Topics of interest include the causes and treatments of gastrointestinal disorders, the biology and genetics of animal parasites, the effects of environmental pollution on gut health, and the development of new diagnostic techniques and interventions.
