Aims and Scope

International Journal of Translational Research (IJTR) is an open access, peer-reviewed scholarly journal focused on promoting scientific excellence in the field of translational research. The journal strives to bridge the gap between laboratory-based research and clinical medicine, original research from renowned clinicians, researchers, and academicians from all over the world. It is focused on interdisciplinary approaches to translational medicine, including medical and biotechnological aspects of disease prevention and care.

The scope of IJTR includes topics related to genomics, proteomics, personalized medicine, epidemiology, physiology and biostatistics of human diseases, immunology and immunogenetics, gene therapy and drug delivery, pharmacology and therapeutics, development of point-of-care diagnostics and therapeutics, clinical trials and outcomes research, medical informatics and medical imaging, and medical instruments. We also encourage articles related to translational research on diseases such as cancer, infectious diseases, cardiovascular diseases, neurological disorders, and mental health. We focus on the translation results from scientific laboratories to practical application in basic and clinical research initiatives, leading to preventive, diagnostic, and therapeutic approaches.

Journal will publish research and review articles on the identification and characterization of basic molecular, cellular and physiological processes that underlie various diseases. In addition, articles providing evidence of the implementation of strategies designed to improve clinical practice and health outcomes, including economic and social impact, will be welcomed. The journal will publish original research articles, review articles, case reports, clinical protocols, and short communications. The journal also encourages the publication of clinical practice guidelines. All submissions will be subjected to a rigorous peer-review process and handled by the editorial board.

The journal also encourages authors to consider the impact that their research may have, and be prepared to discuss any possible implications. This could include the implications for animal, environmental, economic, and social aspects of translational research. It focuses on bridging the gap between research findings, medical treatments, and public health benefits by bringing together researchers from a wide variety of disciplines, including genetics, public health, medicine, epidemiology, nursing, economics, public policy, and biostatistics. Through the publication of original research, in-depth analyses, and comprehensive reviews, IJTR seeks to facilitate knowledge-sharing and collaboration amongst researchers from different professions and enable the development of the most effective patient-centered treatments, preventive measures, and healthcare solutions. The journal provides a unique platform for advancing science and improving public health outcomes by helping scientists, clinicians, and policymakers collaborate across geographic, cultural, and disciplinary boundaries.

The published research is concentrated on clinical issues, which may include disease or the source of disease, a procedure of healing or intervention, and medical diagnostics or prognostics.
