Journal of Migraine Management

Aims and Scope

Journal of Migraine Management (JMM) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to advancing the diagnosis, pathophysiology, treatment, and management of migraine. JMM serves as a multidisciplinary platform for researchers, clinicians, and healthcare professionals to exchange the latest evidence-based insights, innovative therapies, and practical strategies aimed at improving patient outcomes.

JMM welcomes articles related to the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of migraine.

  • Clinical and Basic Research: Epidemiology, genetics, biomarkers, and pathophysiology of migraine.
  • Pharmacological Treatments: Advances in acute and preventive medications, novel drug delivery systems, and efficacy of combination therapies.
  • Non-Pharmacological Approaches: Lifestyle modifications, sleep hygiene, stress management, and behavioral interventions (e.g., cognitive behavioral therapy, biofeedback, relaxation techniques).
  • Surgical and Interventional Therapies: Neuromodulation, nerve blocks, botulinum toxin injections, and emerging procedural interventions.
  • Innovative Imaging and Diagnostic Techniques: Utilization of MRI, fMRI, PET, EEG, and other electrophysiological assessments in migraine research.
  • Pediatric and Adolescent Migraine: Diagnosis, treatment strategies, and long-term management in younger populations.
  • Chronic Migraine & Comorbidities: Understanding the interplay between migraine and conditions such as depression, anxiety, cardiovascular disease, and sleep disorders.
  • Impact on Quality of Life & Socioeconomic Burden: Migraine’s effects on productivity, healthcare utilization, disability, and well-being.

JMM encourages contributions from a diverse range of disciplines, including neurology, pain medicine, psychiatry, psychology, nursing, pharmacology, and public health. The scope of the journal is vast but is not limited to:
