Biography
Liuyang Wang is a Research Associate Professor at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, United States. With more than ten indexed publications, Dr. Wang's research has contributed to advancing methodologies in evolutionary genomics and population genetics. Their most influential work, "Composite measures of selection can improve the signal‐to‐noise ratio in genome scans," published in 2017, has been cited 52 times and addresses critical challenges in detecting signatures of natural selection from genomic data. Dr. Wang's scholarly contributions focus on developing and refining analytical approaches that enhance the detection and interpretation of evolutionary signals in complex datasets.
