Journal of Organ Transplantation

Aims and Scope

Journal of Organ Transplantation (JOT) publishes high-quality research and reviews covering a broad spectrum of topics related to organ transplantation. Authors are encouraged to submit original research, review articles, case studies, and perspectives that explore the intersection of artificial intelligence and organ transplantation. The journal provides a platform for scientists, clinicians, surgeons, bioengineers, and policymakers to exchange knowledge and innovations in this evolving field.

1. Organ Transplantation & Clinical Practices:

  • Advances in transplantation procedures for various organs (heart, liver, kidneys, lungs, pancreas, intestines, etc.)
  • Living donor and deceased donor transplantation techniques
  • Xenotransplantation and cross-species transplantation advancements
  • Pre-transplant evaluation and post-transplant management

2. Immunology, Rejection, and Organ Preservation:

  • Immunosuppressive therapy, immune modulation, and tolerance induction
  • Organ rejection mechanisms and strategies for prevention
  • Tissue compatibility, histocompatibility testing, and biomarker discovery
  • Innovative methods for organ preservation, perfusion, and transportation

3. Regenerative Medicine & Bioengineering in Transplantation:

  • Stem cell-based approaches to organ regeneration and repair
  • 3D bioprinting and artificial organ development
  • Gene therapy applications for improving transplant success rates
  • Tissue engineering strategies for organ replacement

4. Post-Transplantation Management & Patient Outcomes:

  • Complications, infections, and malignancies in transplant recipients
  • Long-term graft survival and strategies to improve patient prognosis
  • Psychosocial impacts, mental health, and quality of life post-transplant
  • Metabolic and cardiovascular complications following transplantation
